I'm Eleanor — a student, athlete, and aspiring leader who believes that the best version of yourself shows up when you're challenged.
My Story
I am a dedicated student at Rowland Hall High School, and my transition from New York to Utah has strengthened my appreciation for new environments and cultural diversity. As an avid tennis player, I have taken initiative beyond my own training by organizing a volunteer project that provided lightly used tennis equipment to children with limited access to the sport. My enthusiasm for learning, service, and exploration motivates me to contribute to my community.
I've always been drawn to the places where disciplines intersect — where the discipline of athletics meets the rigor of science, or where leadership in the community mirrors the teamwork required on a field. That intersection is where I feel most alive. (CHANGE!!)
Science taught me to ask better questions. Sport taught me that failure is data. Service taught me that the world is bigger than my own ambitions. Together, they've shaped a version of me that is restless in the best possible way — always looking for the next problem worth solving.
I'm applying to boarding school because I want to be surrounded by people who push me — peers who are as curious and driven as I am, and teachers who treat students as thinkers, not just learners. I'm ready for that environment. I've been preparing for it my whole life.
